Since August 2023, Studio Rodriguez has worked with Flexfurn on the evolution of its visual communication across multiple furniture collections. What started as a shift from predominantly packshot-based imagery towards high-end studio photography has developed into an ongoing collaboration combining studio work, location photography and commercial video.

Challenge
Flexfurn wanted to move away from a predominantly packshot-driven visual style and create a stronger, more premium brand image across catalogues and online communication. The challenge was to develop a consistent visual language that could work across multiple furniture collections, locations and marketing formats.
Approach
Studio Rodriguez developed a new visual direction combining high-end studio photography, location-based lifestyle imagery and commercial video. Each collection is approached individually, with concepts developed together with the marketing team and translated into either controlled studio environments or carefully selected real-world locations.

Visual Evolution
From Packshots to Premium Brand Imagery
The collaboration started with a shift away from predominantly packshot-driven communication towards a more premium studio style. Controlled lighting, clean compositions and stronger visual direction were developed across multiple furniture collections.
From Studio to Real-World Environments
As the brand evolved, the visual language expanded into atmospheric location photography and video, showing Flexfurn products in environments such as events, conferences and hospitality settings.

Lighting, Styling & Execution
Lighting, styling and composition are developed around the specific collection, with attention to product features, materials and atmosphere. Productions range from clean studio setups to fully constructed environments and location-based shoots.
Content Delivery & Ongoing Partnership
Photography & Video
Studio Rodriguez produces both photography and video, including product films, timelapse sequences, setup demonstrations and atmospheric content for catalogues, websites and marketing communication.
Workflow & Delivery
Photography, post-production and final delivery are handled within a structured workflow. Finished assets are supplied through a dedicated online platform in ready-to-use formats for Flexfurn and its partners.
